Black History Month
Black history is being made every day
Black History Month in October is a month to celebrate the continued achievements and contributions of Black people to the UK and around the world. It’s also a time to shine a light on the continued action needed to tackle racism and discrimination, promote equality, diversity and inclusion, and ensure Black history is represented and celebrated all year round.
Traditionally, Black History Month has celebrated key figures and events in Black history, but it’s also a time to recognise the achievements and contributions that Black people make to the UK every day. We’re all making history.
Have your say…
What does Black History Month mean to you?
We’d love to hear from you.
